Kids Say the Darndest Things

Today we were playing in the mat room at the Y. Shane decided to build a road out of the blocks and walk/run/jump on it. After awhile, I heard him sing "Humpty Dumpty sat on the wall" over and over while walking on the block road and falling off it at the end. At home he's been singing "Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall, Humpty Dumpty sat on the book, Humpty Dumpty sat on the pillow". He's just singing whatever he sees. Sooo funny!!! Too bad he always gets so embarrassed when we watch him.

Remember "I like....colors" Haha!

Right now Nate is asleep and Shane is sitting on the couch (a rarity) watching A Bug's Life. He's sucking his thumb and holding Pooh! Sooo cute! I am just waiting to go to work. Blah. At least I have a job though. Can't complain these days! Good night!!!

Just another day

Well it's another day. Shane went to soccer this morning. He enjoyed running around the field with Coach Molly's son Jake before the session the best. For some reason, he has always loved the "big kids". This evening we played and colored. Shane loves to color now. Nate crawled around a lot. He doesn't show any interest in walking yet, but he sure is fast at crawling. He also has learned to go up the stairs. Scary!!!

So here are my Lenten promises this year:

1. No fast food
2. No pop
3. No chocolate
4. Go to the YMCA at least three times per week

Until next time... Good night!

The Beginning

Hi girls! Yup I did it!! I decided to start a blog to keep track of the boys and all of our fun memories. Shane is already growing up too fast, and Nate will be soon too. What a good way to remember our days (cause I am awful with the baby books). Today we got home from "Papa's house" and the boys took a bath. Shane picked green water this time. Nate fell over once and got a mouthful of water. He's a trooper. They really like bath time! And so do I. They smell so good now. Good night!
