Waiting

I am just waiting around for work while the boys are at Luke and Ella's birthday party. I am not liking missing family weekend things very much. But, we do see Chris more, so that is a huge plus. Here's a picture of Shane being silly this past week. I love when he says "No, I willn't" instead of won't. Haha! Nate isn't walking yet, but he is getting closer I think. We got his walker out and he can take a couple steps with it. Then he crawls with it. Oh well, it's a start.

Here are the boys on St. Patrick's Day! I have always wished I was Irish, but at least they are (a little bit anyway).

Have a good weekend!!!

Another day

Same old, same old. Nothing new to report. Just busy with Shane and Nate. The weather has been beautiful! I really miss the spring/summer when it is miserable and cold, so I am loving this nice, warm air. Hope it lasts (I know it's going to be cooler tomorrow, but I'm staying positive). Walks are so much fun around our neighborhood when it's sunny. Dogs are out, people are cooking on their grills, the ducks are swimming.... you just can't be sad when you are outside enjoying life. I just wish Nate could walk so I could let him down more. When he does walk, I know I'll complain about that too. Ha ha!!! He's so great though, can't complain too much. Well it's bedtime for Shane. Wish me luck!!!

Pictures

I've finally downloaded my pictures from the two last week. Here are some of my favorites:
Shane and Corinne at Chuck E Cheese last Monday. They each had 50 tokens! Which they used very quickly :)

Cheesy smile!

Shane doing Pop A Shot. He actually made a few shots!!! Future basketball star maybe???

Another shot of Shane and Cori. Unfortunately I did not get any of Nate. I had to hold him the whole time cause I did not want him crawling around the floor.

Here's one of Nate having a fit in his high chair seat. He was so upset and I still have NO idea why!

Shane's favorite activity: drawing (and coloring).

On Tuesday we all took a trip to Toledo because Chris had to pick up his transcript from his time there. We found a Don Pablo's and had lunch/dinner there. It was great! Here is Nate sitting in a highchair.

Shane eating chips!

Since we were so close we decided to go visit Michigan. Here's the welcome sign from the car.

And of course since we were in Michigan, Chris had to visit Ann Arbor (much to my protest). It was actually really nice.

Here's a picture of the Big House. This was as close as we could get since it was rainy and under construction.

A view from the other side. UM was actually pretty cool. We drove around the campus for awhile. I told Chris we could come back for a game sometime. At that time, I will be sure to wear my Scarlett and Gray!

A shot from Bob Evans the next day. (We have eaten there 4 times in 2 weeks).

Shane at Bob's.

A few days ago, Shane was eating a cranberry juice popsicle. We wanted to see Nate's reaction. it was hilarious. His faces were priceless. This is the only good one I got of his sour face.

So we have had a busy couple weeks. I start working weekends tomorrow. I hope it will be okay, and I won't miss too many fun weekend activities. More on that later.

It's been awhile

Well it's been awhile, and I have only a couple seconds right now. I hope to post a few pictures tonight. We have been busy. Shane's last soccer was yesterday. He did great and even did the stretches this time. I think we will try it again in the fall. This summer Shane and Nate will both do swimming. Fun times! Shane cracks us up everyday. His new thing to say is "No, that's MY favorite." Apparently to him, two people cannot like the same thing. Also, he says "No, those are MY words!". So we can't say the same things either. "Just kidding" and "I think so" are examples. Ha ha!

He's my boy and other randomness

On Friday, Nate got his first professional haircut. I decided it was finally time because he is STILL being called a girl (not to mention his bangs were half-way down his face). Mom and I cut his bangs a few times in the past, but this was the big time. Since the boy cannot sit down calmly, I decided to give him a messy teether biscuit to keep him still. It worked! He was such a good boy. Although he did give the stylist a messy, wet, biscuity hug.

Before

After

Yesterday night Shane and I decided to make pancakes for dinner (we have nothing else to eat). When they were done, Shane told me this: "Cut them like Papa Chuck does. Papa loves me. He's my boy!" Where does he come up with this stuff??? Of course we called Papa who laughed.

Another thing I love that Shane is saying now is "I think so. I really think so". For example, tonight we were talking about what was happening in a movie and he said "Missy's coming. I think so. I really think so".

Today we went to visit Jackie and Nick. Shane will do anything to fall down, so he and Nick were throwing an exercise ball back and forth. Shane would fall on it and roll over. Then we went to the mall. Shane went to the playground and ran around with the big kids (as usual). I wonder why he's always picking the bigger kids.

Tomorrow is Chuck E Cheese. I'm sure we will have some stories!
